So, about that blog..

So the blog has been horribly neglected these past few months. I'm hoping to change that somewhat and get some regular updates here. The good news is, things have been busy for Digital Maelstrom. Here are a few exciting things we're ready to share!

1. The company decided to add another engineer. Me! I joined up a few months ago, but fear not, for I have been working in IT for almost 12 years now. I got my start doing dial-up internet technical support back in high school for a local ISP and have worked for a few other companies since, focusing on systems administration and networking. Now I serve DM in a similar role, in addition to a vast array of other duties.

2. The company has a new home! We've been feverishly moving equipment and office supplies, painting and getting things ready. I hope to have some pictures to post soon of our new space. We're now located in Kansas City's historic Livestock Exchange Building at 1600 Genessee. Stop by suite 555 and say hello!

3. We're continuing to come up with creative and cost-effective ideas for clients who wish to do more with less! Being able to save lots of money by utilizing open-source technologies and cloud-based computing allows an organization to leverage existing hardware in new and better ways!
